✨Best dressed - How it works
1. Register on arrival
Choose your category — Miss Dolly or Mr Kenny Rogers — and receive your contestant number.
2. Take to the stage
When your number is called, it's your moment! Strut, twirl, wink, pose and work the crowd.
3. Face the judges
Every contestant will be judged across five categories. Our judges will be announced soon.
4. Take the crown!
Scores from all five categories are combined. The contestant with the highest total score takes home the sash, cash and Best Dressed glory!

This year, Mini Dolly is getting a creative makeover! 🎨✨
Dolly on a Dime is a Mini Dolly competition where every outfit is created at the festival on the day. There’s no shopping, no pre-made costumes and no need for an expensive outfit — every child receives the same craft supplies and two hours to design, create and become their own Mini Dolly.
Open to all children under 18, regardless of age, gender or crafting experience. It’s all about imagination, creativity, kindness and embracing the spirit of Dolly.
How it works
Create your Mini Dolly outfit at the festival
Use only the craft supplies provided
You have two hours to design, build and shine
Grown-ups can cheer them on and help with scissors
The crowd gets to cheer for their favourites!

🎤 Big Hair, Don’t Care – The bigger and more fabulous the hair-inspired creation, the better!
💎 Diamond in a Rhinestone World – Bring on the sparkle, glitter, gems and all things dazzling.
🌈 Coat of Many Colours – Creative wearable art made from humble craft materials.
💰 Best on a Dime – Clever, imaginative and resourceful use of the materials provided.
💕 What Would Dolly Do? – Kindness, sharing, teamwork and helping others count too.
Judges will select winners in each category, with crowd cheering also forming part of the fun, before we crown our Ultimate Mini Dolly! 👑✨
